A lot of technical camera jargon went into this photos so stay with me.  I'm on the floor.  I have a remote flash, or flash that is not on the camera, operated by a remote switch, that is behind the shoes and dress.  The flash is causing a shadow.  that matches the purplish hue of the floor... the main camera setting is the 2.0 Aperture which is a focal depth of field thing.  in other words, the focus area is only about 6 inches. This causes the cool isolation thing.  : )
