A smaller island than others. But a quainter island than the rest. Sunset beach, NC is named Sunset beach, not by accident. It’s a south facing beach and the sun sets to the right of the beach. Nestled north of Myrtle beach. It’s an escape from the hustle and bustle of myrtle yet close enough to enjoy the entertainment Myrtle beach offers. I like to do my Sunset Beach family sessions in the morning. The pier itself, and believe or not, underneath the pier house itself, make for some awesome great lighting. You get the sun reflection off the water and cause a wonderful light box feel to it.
